מתים לרגע היא סדרה חדשה המספרת את סיפורם של 4 סטודנטים מצטיינים לרפואה שהתקבלו להתמחות בבית החולים "כצנלסון"

לאחר שהות קצרה בבית החולים התגלה לסטודנטים שהפרוטפסור המוערץ עליהם פרופסור "לנדאו" מבצע בבית החולים ניסויים בבני אדם כאשר הניסוי הוא להרוג ולהחזיר אנשים לתחיה 

הסטונדטים מתפלאים מהניסוי ומחליטים לבצע את הניסוי על עצמם 

אך לא ציפוי לתפועות הלייוי בעבקבות הניסוי על גופם צדבר שישפיע עליהם לכל אורך חייהם ועל התפקוד שלהם ביום יום
